Day 3 - In the countyside - explore Kannuskoski Village

Breakfast from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM

Day in the surroundings of Kannuskoski. During the summer, you can enjoy kayaking, hiking on village nature trails, horseback riding, or spending time in the house's surroundingspetting animals, playing padel or frisbee golf, or just relaxing and reading a book. Meet local people, swim in the lake, just relax -it´s good for you!

Day 4 - Your shortest way to the sea - visit Kotka & Hamina

Breakfast from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM

Excursion to the sights of Hamina and Kotka cities. In Kotka, we recommend visiting the Maritime Centre Vellamo, the Imperial Fishing Lodge of Langinkoski, as well as Maretarium and Kotka's beautiful park destinations. On the way, in Hamina, it's worth taking a picture under Finland's tallest flag and exploring the old town or visiting Tervasaari for a walk and ice cream. Distance to Hamina 50 km, to Kotka 80 km.

Day 5 - Time for some culture - check the most interesting museums or art galleries

Relaxation day at Thousand Tales House or a visit to President Svinhufvud's home museum in Kotkaniemi, a World Heritage Site in Verla's factory museum, or Kuusankoski Art Ruukki. Distance to Kotkaniemi 35 km, to Verla 50 km, or to Taideruukki Art Museum 45 km.

Day 6 - See, feel and explore the Saimaa - the biggest lake in Finland

Excursion to the Lappeenranta region or Saimaa Geopark sites

In Lappeenranta, it's worth visiting the fortress area and the Sandcastle located in the harbor. Or jump aboard in the harbor and cruise on Lake Saimaa.

Lappeenranta also offers Husky Safaris at the White Flower Husky moments.

Activities in the Thousand Tales House area

During the summer, there are domestic animals in the house's yard, a 6-hole frisbee golf course, a small playing field, trampolines, and a padel court. The nearest lake is available for swimming and fishing. You can rent canoes for paddling on river Väliväylä or Hujajärvi lake and also book horseback riding and horse-drawn carriage rides for your holiday program. You can also head to a nearby shelter for a bonfire picnic.

The vacation includes accommodation, breakfast, and dinner.

The price of the vacation includes accommodation in a double room or a family room with bed linen and towels and half board (breakfast and dinner.)

Accommodation is in the cozy premises of the main house or the Barn Attic. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a barbecue area, and a lean-to for preparing your own meals.

Half board includes dinner on the day of arrival and breakfast on the day of departure.
