Holiday Program
Day 1 – Experience a South Karelian farm – Welcome!
Arrival at Tuhannen Tarinan Talo from 3:00 PM – welcome!
Explore the farmyard, nearby forests, and meet the animals
Dinner at 5:00 PM – “Enjoying Karelian flavors together”
Sauna – separate women’s and men’s sessions
Day 2 – On the Water – Canoeing on the Väliväylä & Smoke Sauna
Breakfast 8:30–10:00
Optional participation in feeding the animals at 10:00
Free time to explore the farmyard, nearby forests, and animals, or enjoy activities like frisbee golf, padel, swimming, or fishing at your own pace

1:00 PM – Canoeing on the Väliväylä route with experienced guide Kari Niemi from Seikkailuviikarit.
Departure from the former Kannuskoski store waterfront, with instructions and safety briefing
Canoeing in canoes or kayaks
The route offers peaceful nature and some excitement with small rapids (sites include Niskakoski, Kyykoski, Sulunkoski)
No previous canoeing experience required

Day 3 – Deep in the Forest – E-Fatbike Trip to Tolpankangas

Feeding the animals at 10:00
11:00 AM – E-fatbike trip to Tolpankangas and Karhulampi lean-to.
Guided by an experienced instructor from Saimaan Palju, pace adjusted to group’s fitness
Suitable for physically able and moderately fit cyclists
Lunch at Karhulampi lean-to, followed by cycling back to Tuhannen Tarinan Talo
Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery of the pine forests
Package includes bike rental, guidance, and a snack by the campfire
Duration: ~2.5 hours
Gentle sauna session
Dinner at 5:00 PM – “From forest to table” – local berries, mushrooms, and game
7:00 PM – Hammock relaxation
