Tuhannen Tarinan Talo (House of a Thousand Tales) is a small, family-run farm tourism destination in the peaceful village of Kannuskoski, between Kouvola and Lappeenranta, in the Finnish Lakeland region.
Located approximately two hours from Helsinki Airport, our farm is surrounded by forests, fields and the beautiful landscapes of rural Finland. Accommodation is provided in a more than 100-year-old traditional log house, where you can experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere of a Finnish country home.
This is a place to slow down, enjoy local food and discover the Finnish way of life.
A stay to experience Finnish rural life
This full-board package is designed for small groups travelling together – for example families, friends or extended families.
During your stay, you can enjoy traditional Finnish home-style food, relax in the sauna and spend time together in the peaceful countryside. After breakfast, you are welcome to join the morning feeding of our farm animals and see a little of everyday life on a Finnish farm.
There are many ways to experience the surrounding nature and rural landscape. Depending on the season and your interests, we can help you discover the area through guided nature activities, walks in the nearby forests, outdoor experiences and other activities connected with Finnish countryside and local traditions.
You can also simply enjoy the farmyard, meet the animals, take a sauna and watch the Finnish countryside change with the seasons.
